Every year, the United Way/Combined Health Agencies Drive Campaign raises millions of dollars for 64 vital health and human services agencies. In fact, United Way is the largest provider of programmatic grant dollars to nonprofits here in Lincoln and Lancaster County. These nonprofits rely on these dollars to provide lifesaving and life-changing services.

Our goal this year is to raise $6.35M. We are almost there. Just about $100,000 more to go by March 31.

It is important that we meet this goal because our partner agencies rely on this funding to stabilize their programs, which serve as a safety net for our community members in times of need.

Thanks to a few anonymous donors, from February 1 through March 31, 2022 at midnight, all gifts to United Way from new donors will be matched dollar for dollar up to $50,000. Those who haven’t given since 2019 will count as new donors in this case.

This matching gift is contingent on the community raising $50,000. If less than$50,000 is raised the matching gift will reflect that.

Who qualifies for this matching gift?

• New donors to United Way
• Donors who haven’t given since 2019
• New hires at companies who run workplace campaigns
• New corporate gifts

If you are not sure if you are a new donor to United Way, know that all dollars donated to United Way support the community, whether they are matched or not. Please consider making a gift!
