Helping Hands Grant

Since 2010 the Helping Hands Grant has been providing diapers and winter clothing to children and families in Lincoln and Lancaster County. The grant also provides funding to a children’s chronic health charity each year.

The grant is funded through the annual United Way Women in Philanthropy Helping Hands Auction. The Women in Philanthropy committee was inspired to create the auction and the grant when they learned that some families in Lincoln and Lancaster County cannot afford diapers for their children.
