Resource Development Manager - Corporate Relations

Title: Resource Development Manager – Corporate Relations (exempt position)

Reports to: Senior Director of Marketing and Resource Development

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the guidance of the Senior Director of Marketing and Resource Development, this position is responsible for planning and implementing all aspects of the annual campaign for private sector organizations for the United Way of Lincoln and Lancaster County. This individual will work with other staff and volunteers to develop marketing and sales strategies for all aspects of this division, and will maintain yearlong contact with donors, volunteers, community leaders and others in this area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Leads the Loaned Executive Division of the campaign
  • Co-Manage and eventually take on lead role of the New Accounts Division and responsible for recruitment of new campaigns
  • Co-Manage and eventually take on lead role of the Cultivation Division
  • Co-manage and the General Campaign Division
  • Develops a work plan for Private Sector managed workplace campaigns based on an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of past campaigns, changes in community structure and economic factors that may affect the campaign
  • Assist with managing the CRM database as a backup to the Database Specialist | Trend Analyst including but not limited to tracking the campaign progress, projections, reporting, structuring and updating bio information
  • Assist in recruiting, orienting and coordinating volunteers for the Campaign Cabinet and company campaign coordinators
  • Develops goals and timelines appropriate to the campaign
  • Manages campaigns in Pacesetters as well as general fall campaign
  • Solicits in-kind contributions as well as paid sponsorships
  • Maintain manageable involvement with outside civic organizations
  • Assists with special events when needed
  • Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • Database experience preferred
  • Proficient in the use of computers and working knowledge of various computer programs including Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds
  • Current driver’s license and bondable
  • Strong writing and communications skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Self-directed, team oriented and growth oriented
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility with assignments and responsibilities
